Interactive map: Marijuana arrests in California

Later this year, California residents will vote on an initiative that would legalize marijuana in the state. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers continue to arrest tens of thousands of residents on pot charges, and some counties bust a much higher proportion of their residents than others. Updated with 2008 data on July 30, 2010.
