95.8 percent of survey-takers support Arizona's immigration law

Chances are you have an opinion about Arizona's new law on illegal immigration. Check out the results on MSNBC's one-question survey. At the time of this writing the poll had 2,227,632 votes, with 95.8 percent of the voters in favor of Arizona's stance. Anyone who has been on the Internet for more than a few minutes knows that web polls are anything but scientific, but these results are still staggering.

So...let's conduct our own one-question survey of Merced readers: Hop on over to the Sun-Spot and cast your vote.

Merced Sun-Star is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
