Video shows 3D archaeology exhibit at UC Merced

Posted on December 16, 2010

A few weeks ago, Sun-Star reporter Jamie Oppenheim wrote about UC Merecd's archaeology exhibit, "3D Archaeology at Çatalhöyük."

Professor Maurizio Forte and some of his students spent the summer at an ancient settlement in Turkey, scanning artifacts into a 3D format. Their work can be viewed in an exhibit that spans two floors of the Kolligian Library.

This week, UC Merced released a video showing some of the exhibit, complete with an interview with Forte. It's interesting stuff.
