Two brothers, ages 20 and 23, were reported stabbed Wednesday afternoon in Livingston, police reported.

Police responded to the 2800 block of Franquette Court around 2 p.m. and found the men with stab wounds on a front lawn. Soria said police believe the stabbing happened at another location, and the two men drove to Franquette Court.

Both men were taken to a Modesto hospital. The 23 year-old had three stab wounds to his left rear shoulder area. None of the injuries were life threatening and he's expected to be released Thursday.

The other victim's condition is unknown.

No suspects are in custody. Police said they're searching for four Hispanic males in either a blue or brown van.

Interim Chief Chris Soria said the circumstances and motive behind the stabbing are unknown. Detectives ask anyone with information to call the Livingston Police Department at (209) 394-7916. Tips are kept confidential and you can remain anonymous.
