Health Mart Healthy Living tour to offer free health screenings July 12 in Atwater

The Health Mart Healthy Living tour said it will offer free health screenings Tuesday, July 12, at Bertelli's Health Mart Pharmacy in Atwater.

The screenings, from 3 to 6 p.m., include blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and Hemoglobin A1c tests. The pharmacy is at 1473 Broadway in Atwater.

Co-sponsored by Bayer Diabetes Care and Novo Nordisk, the Health Mart Healthy Living tour aims to raise awareness of what it called in a news release a "growing diabetes epidemic--the disease affects about 25.8 million Americans."
