Caltrans will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 140 from east of Kelly Avenue to Santa Fe Avenue. Crews will begin bridge-building work Tuesday and continue through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists should expect five-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. The work is scheduled to begin as listed but is subject to change based on weather conditions.
The work is part of the $22.8 million Bradley Overhead widening project that began in June. The project will replace a bridge and widen the road from two lanes to four lanes along Highway 140. The project begins at Marthella Avenue and ends just east of Santa Fe Avenue. Improvements will also include realigning a portion of two major streets and erecting two traffic signal lights.
