The Bears have stormed back into the CCC race after picking up their seventh win in their last eight games.
Tekerra Borden scored 16 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Dalonna Jones finished with eight points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks.
Golden Valley 29, Atwater 27
ATWATER -- Tori Johnson pulled up and sank a 12-footer with five seconds left to give the Cougars their first CCC win this year and snap a streak of 29 straight conference losses. Johnson (10 points) tied the game at 27-all with just under a minute left with a 3-pointer.
Los Banos 46, Ceres 32
LOS BANOS -- Morgan Hurley scored 10 of her 11 points in a third quarter that saw the Tigers (7-2 Western Athletic Conference) outscore Ceres 28-5.
Briana Harden added 10 pounds and 11 rebounds for Los Banos.
