Brian Morse is ready to try his hand at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am once again.
The brother of Merced District Attorney Larry Morse and Northern California Golf Association board member tested his mettle on the storied links a year ago.
Morse and partner Jason Schmuhl missed the tournament cut finishing second to last after two days.
The Pebble Beach Golf Links proved the twosomes' undoing as they shot a 13-over 85, that left them second to last.
Odds are 2012 is going to go a little better.
Morse will pair with tour rookie Richard H. Lee. The Merced native is set to tee-off at 8:22 a.m. at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club.
The duo will take on Pebble Beach on day two and Spyglass Hill on Saturday.
The top 25 pairings advance to Sunday's final round.
