Pacheco State Park will celebrate the 9th Annual Wildflower Day from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to go to tables staffed by local volunteers from the California Native Plant Society, California Department of Fish and Game, and State Parks, etc. to learn about this beautiful wilderness state park as well as other recreational opportunities in the area. UC Merced's Annual Bobcat Art Show runs through April 27 in the new UCM Art Gallery and the Kolligian Library. Art from UC Merced students, faculty and staff will be exhibited in many media: painting, drawing, sculpture, digital media and mixed media. There will be an artists' reception on Thursday, April 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the UCM Art
Gallery located in room 106 in the new Social Sciences and Management Building. Student "Artist of the Year" awards will be announced at the reception. The reception is free and open to the public.
