22-year-old man hurt in Livingston drive-by shooting

A 22-year-old man is recovering after being shot in a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning.

No suspects are in custody.

The victim, Antonio Hernandez, was shot around 12:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Emerald Drive, according to Livingston police.

He was taken to a hospital and treated for minor pellet wounds. Police believe a grey sedan was used in the shooting. The car was seen driving by the scene several times before the shots were fired.

Police said two to three shots were fired at the victim. The shooting appears to be gang-related.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call (209) 394-7916. Tips are kept confidential and you can remain anonymous.
