Youth wrestling, track enrollment

The Central Valley Wrestling Club of Merced is holding open enrollment for all area boys and girls ages 10-and-up.

Practices are held three days a week. No experience required and the cost is $40 per month with all equipment provided.

Youth track and field camp

The City of Merced Office of Recreation and the Central Valley Sports Academy are teaming up to host a track & field camp on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The camp will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Fahrens Park at R and Buena Vista in Merced.

The camp will teach some of the skills in sprinting, distance running, discus and shot putt. The camp is geared for youngsters in grades K to 12.
