The picture and article that appeared in the Friday, Sept. 14, newspaper compelled me to comment. I do not know this man but it saddens me to the core to think that a motorist can hit a bicyclist in broad daylight in a busy intersection and no one can come forward with any information. Someone, and maybe many witnessed this tragic accident.
Step up! Tell the authorities what you saw or more importantly who committed this crime. If by chance the person responsible reads this, do the right thing and come forward. In the meantime, say a prayer for this innocent victim who has a wife and sons that sit by helplessly waiting, hoping and praying for him to wake up and hopefully recover. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
