Jazz under the stars

ATWATER -- The Atwater-Merced Alumnae Chapter presents "Jazz Under the Stars" from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday at 877 W. Fruitland Ave. Tickets are $25 each or sponsor a VIP Table for $1,000 for personal service, fine dining, name on table, sponsor recognition and 8 tickets. Playing To Learn

St. Luke's Anglican School will host speaker Sharron Krull from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at 350 W. Yosemite Ave. Krull is a nationally recognized early childhood expert. Space is limited and tickets are $10 each. For more information go to www.stlukesmerced.org.
