The City of Merced's Office of Recreation will be holding a Tiny Tots Pumpkin Party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. October 25 for kids ages 3 to 6 years old, according to a press release.
The activity is co-sponsored by the Bear Creek Pumpkin Patch.
Participants can pick out their own pumpkin and then paint and decorate it in a scary, funny or festive way.
Children can make Halloween crafts to take home.
The cost is $5 per child. The event will be held in the Sam Pipes Room at the Civic Center, 678 W. 18th St. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required.
