TURLOCK -- Turlock police arrested a 33-year-old woman who allegedly ran away from a car accident involving a stolen car.
According to authorities, officers spotted a stolen vehicle near South First Avenue and Gold Road at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. When they tried to stop the car, the driver sped off.
Police chased the car, which crashed into vehicles parked on Oak Street, then rolled over. The occupants got out and ran away. Officers searched the area with help from Merced County Sheriffs deputies and a K9.
