Kids' Miracle Walk planned at UC Merced
The 2nd annual Children's Miracle Walk will take place Sunday with check-in time at 9:30 a.m. and the walk at 10 a.m. at UC Merced, 5200 N. Lake Road. There will be a health fair, kids' center, food, live entertainment and more. The event is open to the community. Parking is free. Help us save lives, one step at a time. Lions Club Breakfast

Mature driver class
Merced College Noncredit Office is offering a mature driver improvement class for residents 55 and over from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Merced Tri-College Center. Lights On After School
The 11th annual Lights On After School Festival will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in downtown Merced. There will be many activities, performances, a Halloween costume contest and a special showing of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for $3 per person to the first 1,000 people. Menudo served weekly
