UC Merced offers application workshop

SPCA benefit dinner

Uniformed services

Mother Lode costumes

October senior dance

The Merced Senior Community Center will host its October senior dance from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the center, 755 W. 15th St. Music by Gloria Coronas and Eddie Synigal. Tickets are $8 each. Anyone age 18 and older is welcome. Call (209) 723-0839.

Kiwanis breakfast

Ride to the polls

The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Merced Brotherhood Mission is offering a ride to the polls on Nov. 6 for anyone who does not have a way to get to polling stations. Please notify the group by Oct. 30 to set an appointment for a ride by calling (209) 723-2617, (209) 394-4960 or (209) 761-1570.
