Merced ShakespeareFest will have auditions for its winter play, Hamlet, at 10 a.m. on Nov. 3 at Playhouse Merced, 452 W. Main St. Performances will be Feb. 22 to March 3. Rehearsals will take place in January and February. Call (209) 723-3265 or go to mercedshakespearefest. org for details.
