Church anniversary

LIVINGSTON -- The St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church will celebrate its 75th Anniversary at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at Mass, 330 Franci St. His Excellency, the Most Rev. Armando X. Ochoa, bishop of the Diocese of Fresno, will be in attendance.

Candidates forum

The League of Women Voters will host a U.S. Congress Candidates Forum at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the California Room at UC Merced.

Trunk or Treat

The Boys and Girls Club of Merced County will host a family-friendly Trunk or Treat event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 31 at 615 W. 15th St. Cost is $1 for those ages 3 and up, carnival games, arts and crafts, pumpkin patch and face painting. Call (209) 722-9922 for more information.

Guitarists workshop

Benefit for autism

LIVINGSTON -- The 5th Annual Carlos Vieira Foundation Dinner- Fundraiser will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at 1237 Main St. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for kids 10 and under or $60 for a family of two adults and two children. Country Pantry event

ATWATER -- Holy Cross Lutheran Church will host its Country Pantry from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3 at 1495 Underwood Ave., featuring crafts, kitchen items, baked goods and homemade soup, bread and beverage for lunch. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.

Veterans Day program

WINTON -- The Winfield Elementary School's fifth-graders will present their sixth annual Veterans Day Program at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the school, 6981 Chestnut Lane. Call (209) 357-6891 for more information.
