Habitat for Humanity invites you to its 2012 annual dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hoffmeister Center, 1920 Canal St. It will be a pot luck, last names beginning with A-G bring a dessert, H-N bring a salad or side dish and P-Z bring a main dish. Call (209) 726-0850.

Merced High Class of 1966 minireunion

The Merced High Class of 1966 will host a mini class reunion, potluck style from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Rahilly Park, 3400 N. Parsons Ave. No charge to attend, but everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. The Classes of '65 and '67 also are invited. Plates, utensils, napkins and drinks will be provided. Cheer Clinic Fund-raiser

Merced High School cheerleaders will host their annual Youth Cheer Clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday in the Merced High Gym, 205 W. Olive Ave. Cost is $15 each. Participants should bring a sack lunch and wear comfortable clothes. They will learn a dance routine as well as cheer and perform during Nov. 2 at the varsity football game. Teachers association candidates forum
