Betsy Williams: Mobley the better candidate

After attending a recent debate between Jack Mobley and Adam Gray, it is apparent to me that Jack Mobley is the candidate that should be elected to represent the 21st Assembly District.

Mobley has been in business for more than 20 years and understands what it will take to attack our budget problems in Sacramento. He knows what it is like to run a business, and those skills give him a strong background in helping to improve the private sector. He supports no new taxes and recognizes that we need to look deeper into the current budget for areas that can be cut instead of immediately offering increased taxes as the only alternative. Jack does not support high-speed rail because of its detrimental affect on agriculture and the high cost of the project.

Jack is articulate and focused on important issues facing our district. When comparing the education and business experience of both candidates, he is the most qualified. I will be casting my vote for Jack Mobley. Both candidates agree on many issues but Jack's experience, business background and ideas are what we need.
