Eight years ago, I supported John Pedrozo when he first ran for Merced County supervisor. Like many of my neighbors, I feel that Pedrozo has let us down, and I can no longer support him.
As a supervisor, Pedrozo has been a cheerleader for the high-speed rail boondoggle, without consideration for the harm it would cause to agriculture here in the valley. After two terms as supervisor, he has no real accomplishments to point to.
We need to replace Pedrozo on the Board of Supervisors, and I believe the man who could best serve us as our new supervisor is Deputy Jim Pacheco.
