Around Town: Get a ride to the polls

The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Merced Brotherhood Mission is offering a ride to the polls on Nov. 6 for anyone who does not have a way to get to polling stations. Dia de los Muertos

Sol del Valle will present Dia de los Muertos at 2 p.m. Sunday at 939 W. Main St. Teocalli Director Julio Bustos, Ballet Folklórico de UC Merced and Folklorico Yolotli of Los Banos will be performing. Tickets are $7. Call (209) 617-2659 for details.

Support for neuropathy

Marines birthday party

Veterans Day parade

The Merced County Veterans Council, Human Services Agency and Chamber of Commerce will present the Veterans Day parade Nov. 11 at noon, starting at Bob Hart Square. Rotary club collection

The North Merced Rotary will be collecting wheelchairs, walkers and crutches from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 10 at Mercy Medical Center Merced, 333 Mercy Ave.

Annual Tea and Bazaar

An annual Tea and Bazaar will be hosted by the Native Daughters of the Golden West Veritas Parlor No. 75 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at 899 Yosemite Park Way. The event will feature breads, cookies, cakes, homemade crafts and a Thanksgiving Basket drawing. Lunch of tea sandwiches is available for a donation.
