Hmong outreach group hosts tri-tip barbecue

St. Paul Lutheran Church Hmong Outreach Ministries will host a tri-tip barbecue fund-raiser at 3 p.m. today at the corner of G Street and Olive Avenue in the Walgreens parking lot. Get a whole tri-tip for $20 and proceeds will benefit the Hmong Ministry. For more information, call (209) 722-6101.

Church Country Pantry ATWATER -- Holy Cross Lutheran Church will host its Country Pantry from 8:30 a.m. to

1 p.m. on Saturday at 1495 Underwood Ave. in Atwater. Features crafts, kitchen items, baked goods and homemade soup, bread and beverage for lunch; donations will be accepted.

Dinner and fund-raiser LIVINGSTON -- The fifth annual Carlos Vieira Foundation fund-raiser will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at 1237 Main St. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for kids 10 and under or $60 for a family of two adults and two children. Dessert auction and marinated pork, linquica, sweet potatoes, taro root, salad and bread on the menu. Proceeds will benefit the Race for Autism. Christmas tree exhibit The Merced County Courthouse Museum will be setting up its annual Christmas tree display. Registration forms for Christmas trees are available at the museum and the open house will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 2.
