Greg Hubbard: Obama doesn't deserve to be president

When Mercedians go to the polls Tuesday, they should reflect on the events at the U.S. Consulate and safe house in Benghazi and the deaths of the ambassador and three other Americans.

For eight days Obama and his administration lied to America by saying that an anti-Muslim video on YouTube caused spontaneous demonstrations against the United States.

Reports showed there was no demonstration but an armed terrorist attack. State Department e-mails showed the White House knew within two hours that it was an armed terrorist attack.

Reports showed the Americans, under fire, radioed three times for military help that was 30 minutes away in Italy; they were denied three times. The battle lasted seven hours.

Reports say the White House situation room watched live video of the attack supplied by a drone. Obama chose not to send help to rescue the Americans and to continue his lie to America.

Obama has blood on his hands. It's unconscionable an American president willingly left Americans to die when help was available.

Obama is guilty of either gross incompetency or dereliction of duty; either way he doesn't deserve to be our president.
