MERCED -- The Merced County Board of Supervisors will meet today at 10 a.m. to consider adoption of several resolutions related to property acquisitions for the Atwater-Merced Expressway project.

The supervisors also will consider approving several budget transfers: $86,515 for software and integration projects that were inadvertently eliminated at the end of the last fiscal year; $25,000 to replace two washing machines at the main jail; $13,067 to pay for an increase in the San Joaquin Valley Library System's membership dues; $5,200 to replace portable radios at Juvenile Hall.

The supervisors will consider possible action on a lease agreement with Valley Sports Academy for a five-acre softball-baseball complex at Castle Commerce Center.

There also will be a health presentation regarding West Nile virus and valley fever as well as introduction of the Regional Transportation Plan Sustainable Communities Strategy.

The supervisors chamber is on the third floor of the Administration Building in Merced at 2222 M St.
