MERCED — The Merced County Board of Supervisors will meet today at 10 a.m. to consider adoption of several resolutions related to property acquisitions for the Atwater-Merced Expressway project.
The supervisors also will consider approving several budget transfers: $86,515 for software and integration projects that were inadvertently eliminated at the end of the last fiscal year; $25,000 to replace two washing machines at the main jail; $13,067 to pay for an increase in the San Joaquin Valley Library System's membership dues; $5,200 to replace portable radios at Juvenile Hall.
The supervisors will consider possible action on a lease agreement with Valley Sports Academy for a five-acre softball-baseball complex at Castle Commerce Center.
There also will be a health presentation regarding West Nile virus and valley fever as well as introduction of the Regional Transportation Plan Sustainable Communities Strategy.
