Each year, International Survivors of Suicide Day helps individuals and families who have lost someone to suicide connect with others and express the powerful emotions they experience.
Survivors of suicide loss from around the world come together for support, healing, and information at presentations around the world.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's International Survivors of Suicide Day will be held on Saturday in more than 300 cities around the world, including for the first time, in Modesto.
For more information about the presentation or to preregister, visit www.afsp.org.
