ROJAS: No checks, balances

Checks and balances is a bedrock principle of our Constitution. That principle has been nullified by a one party supermajority in California. When you consider the bills vetoed by Gov. Jerry Brown that would otherwise now sail into law unimpeded, it is a frightening prospect indeed.

We need Adam Gray to show us he has a backbone made of steel, not jelly. Considering that almost none of his campaign money came from the people of the district, it gives me concern.
