A Pacific Gas & Electric employee died when his truck slammed into traffic signal pole in West Sacramento early this morning.
Police officers responded to the crash about 2 a.m. at the intersection of Lake Washington and Jefferson boulevards. The driver died at the scene.
West Sacramento police are investigating the incident, which occurred as a rainstorm was moving through the area. Police say it is possible that weather was a factor in the crash.
