I am so thankful to everyone in the 21st Assembly District who put such faith in my vision for our area on Election Day. I would especially like to thank my many grass-roots supporters who spent so much time and energy on behalf of my campaign.
I would be remiss if I didn't also congratulate my opponent, Jack Mobley, for running a hard-fought campaign.
I promise to do my absolute best in advocating for our area in Sacramento. We have a lot of challenges and a lot of problems to solve, and it's my intent to go all out toward improving transportation, infrastructure, access to health care and education, and our business climate.
Now with the election over, it's time to focus our energy -- Republican, Democrat, Independent and Green alike -- on these many challenges.
We need to come together, much like the greatest generation, and tackle these head on.
I take seriously the trust you have placed in me, and I pledge to honor it in my work.
