Riggs Ambulance Service is a local company that has continually provided quality care and emergency services to Merced County since 1948.
Andy the Ambulance, Every 15 Minutes and Explorer Post programs, and Sober Grad are just a few of the many ways this organization reaches out to our youth.
Riggs also hosts health and safety fairs, donates standby time at sporting events, and has CPR and first aid courses available to the public.
Riggs provides specially trained tactical EMS units to assist local law enforcement agencies in SWAT call-outs. These units ensure prompt medical treatment is provided to both SWAT team members and civilian bystanders.
The men and women employed by Riggs exude professionalism and make a difference in our community. It will be a great disservice to the citizens of Merced County to allow a Colorado-based corporation to displace Riggs.
Please show your support and help reverse the county decision which is based upon a flawed scoring system and 4 point deficit, rather than by what the people of Merced County want.
We stand to lose much more than we will gain by inviting an out of state, outsourcing, for profit organization into our community.
