I have been reading about the changes the county is making from local vendors for ambulance services and gas services. What has not been mentioned is the recent change the county made from the Meals on Wheels organization to a new one. My neighbor has been getting her meals late, cold, and the quality of the food has been terrible since the change. Cheaper is not always better, despite what the Board of Supervisors think. The meals are now worth "change" and not much of it.
