Debbie Sullivan: Follow flag rules

I really loved the letter "Colors don't follow" (Dec. 12). The mayor and ex-assistant principal of Atwater High should know the rules. I like Joan Faul, but this was a big no-no.

We need our future generations to learn these things, not that it is OK to break the rules. The parade was good, but we also need the people and kids alike to also know that when our flag passes in front of you, you are suppose to stand and salute.
