The Weaver Union School District wishes to thank the community for its continued trust and support. The results are in and Measure G has passed with a 56.12 percent of the vote. It is clear that our community is very supportive of our schools. This measure will help our district move forward to rebuild the middle school, reduce our overcrowded elementary schools and help with a local match to the $16 million grant from the state.
On behalf of the Weaver Union School District Board of Trustees, we would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support of our campaign. Over the next few months our staff will be working to establish an independent oversight committee and begin to work on preliminary planning of our first project. After 60 years, the middle school will finally get that extreme make-over that it truly deserves. As we look to the future, our schools are ready to move forward for the next generation of education.
Thanks again for your support of Measure G.
