Francis and Elizabeth Klick: Our children need compassion, attention to thrive

Until the majority or our children are paid attention to and raised with compassion by their families and communities again, society is only going to get worse. Paying attention to means spending a large amount of quality, undivided time with them each day.

Our society now prioritizes loose morals, excessive materialism, loss of a hard-working ethic, and excessive consumption of food and drugs. Did you know that there are more dogs being raised in our homes now than children?

Our country was founded with strong religious beliefs. We lost that spirituality trying to be tolerant of all other people coming to America. We now are experiencing the results. The problem is not rocket science.

Children do not fathom what is important unless they are able to experience the wonderful soup that is America. Televisions are our baby sitters and we all know what kind of junk is on television!
