McCulloch opens pro shot at Bellevue

With the closing of Castle Lanes, Sean McCulloch has moved his pro-shop and equipment to Bellevue Bowl and is now ready to help local bowlers.

McCulloch told me he would be open every league night for bowlers needing work and during senior leagues on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. He will be offering new ball drilling, plugging and re-drilling of old balls, installing thumb slugs and finger inserts. You can reach him at (209) 358-6466.

PBA50

The tour schedule for PBA50 is out.

This tour is for members of the PBA who are over 50 years old. Two members that come to mind are Walter Ray Williams Jr. and Pete Weber. The tour starts out in Tampa, Fla., on April 14-17. They will be making a West Coast stop June 16-19 at the Northern California Track Classic at Harvest Park Bowl in Brentwood.

Senior tournament

The association will be holding its annual Senior Singles Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Bellevue Bowl at 1 p.m. Seniors must be at least 50 years old. Men and women will compete against each other in two divisions according to age. More info in the coming weeks.
