Mental Health Board to meet

The Merced County Mental Health Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at 300 E. 15th St.

West Coast Swing classes

FFA to hold crab feed Feb. 23

The Merced High School FFA will hold a crab feed at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the school gym, 205 W. Olive Ave. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 for a table of eight and includes all-you-can-eat crab, pasta and bread. Dessert auction, live auction and raffle. Call (209) 628-4213 or email

Lions Breakfast Club wants old glasses, hearing aids

The Merced Breakfast Lions Club maintains several drop-off sites for old or unused prescription eyeglasses or hearing aids. They can be dropped off at the offices of Drs. Club Mercedes menudo

Club Mercedes serves menudo every Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon or until it runs out. Cost is $8 for a large bowl and includes tortillas, coffee and a Mexican pastry. Beverages are available for an extra charge. Dine-in or take-out are available. Call (209) 383-9906.
