Wes Unruh: Are we really being represented in D.C.?

Just a couple of points that might motivate you to call your U.S. senator and representative:

Our elected officials remind me of my son's senior year in high school, he tried to do all of his homework the last 10 days of the school year -- it worked for him, but then he didn't represent over 300 million people. He was also a quick study and not trying to get reelected to anything.

I have heard mentioned almost daily that the mortgage interest tax deduction is one of the items being considered for elimination. Take away the pride of homeownership and our cities will be even further degraded and run down.

So make that call or write that email -- remember, they are supposed to represent us!
