For many of us, this is the season of great joy as we remember the birth of a precious baby!

We all know that human life is the greatest of all gifts. We have recently witnessed that when that precious life is senselessly taken, it brings indescribable pain.

For the past 40 years, millions of precious lives have been destroyed through abortion. The loss of these preborn babies has also causes of great pain. Their deaths are hurting society in ways we have yet to understand. Many of you have wished you could have intervened but didn't know how, when abortion touched your "world."

I'm writing this letter to invite you to the Pro-life Conference/Rally sponsored by the United for Life of Merced County. Come join the local pro-life community on Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Creekside Evangelical Free Church in Merced.

The keynote speaker is Josh Brahm (http://prolifepodcast.net), director of education for Right to Life of Central California. He will discuss ways that will help all of us become more powerful pro-life advocates.

Come! Let's join forces to recognize where and when we can intervene to help stop this senseless hurt and despair that has followed abortion. Let's work together to save the preborn babies and give their troubled young mothers hope, love and a reason to choose life.
