No one hurt after shots fired in Atwater

— No injuries were reported after shots rang out Sunday afternoon in the 2800 block of Determine Drive in Atwater on Sunday, police reported.

Officers arrived at the scene around 12:20 p.m. after a witnesses reported hearing six to eight shots, according to Lt. Sam Joseph.

Police found six shell casings from a 9 millimeter Luger handgun outside and several bullet holes in a nearby wall.

No suspects are in custody and a description of the shooter isn't available. Police are asking anyone with information to call (209) 357-6396. Tips are kept confidential and you can remain anonymous.
