Sixth Street Cinema shows Dalai Lama film

MARIPOSA -- The Sixth Street Cinema will present "10 Questions for the Dalai Lama" at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The film "Liberal Arts" will play at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at 4994 Sixth St. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children or seniors, but no one will be turned away because of a lack of funds. 'Image of the King' at Merced Theatre

Merced Senior Social Club meets each Friday

Courthouse Museum docent training

The Merced County Courthouse Museum will hold its annual docent training from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the museum, 21st and N streets. Coffee and breakfast rolls will be provided. Make a reservation by calling (209) 723-2401. New and returning docents are welcome.
