The California Department of Transportation will perform various road construction activities and bridge work on Highway 99 from Childs Avenue to Shanks Road, according to a Caltrans news release.
Work will occur as follows:
The No. 1 (left) lane on northbound and southbound Highway 99 from Childs Avenue to Atwater Boulevard/Bert Crane Road will close Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The No. 2 (right) lane on northbound Highway 99 from Canal Creek to Buhach Road will close on Monday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The southbound offramp from Highway 99 to South Avenue will close on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The No. 2 lane on southbound Highway 99 from Shanks Road to South Avenue will close on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The southbound onramp from Shanks Road to Highway 99 will close on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The No. 2 lane on southbound Highway 99 from South Avenue to Merced River Bridge before Collier Road will close on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The southbound on- and offramps from 16th Street to Highway 99 are closed and scheduled to reopen the week of March 3.
The northbound onramp from Highway 140 near 15th Street to Highway 99, and the southbound onramp from G Street to Highway 99 are closed and scheduled to reopen May 6.
