The California Department of Transportation will close part Santa Fe Avenue from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday as workers continue with the Bradley Overhead Widening Project.
Santa Fe from east of McKee Avenue to west of Highway 140 will be closed during those times, according to a Caltrans news release. Drivers can expect five minute delays. Detour signs will be posted and alternate routes should be taken when possible.
The roadwork is part of a $22.8 million project to replace an old bridge and widen the road from two to four lanes along Highway 140. The project starts at Marthella Avenue and ends east of Santa Fe.
