Sixth Street Cinema
MARIPOSA -- The Sixth Street Cinema, 4994 Sixth St., will present "To Rome With Love" at 4 p.m. on Sunday; and "Farewell My Queen" at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Hazardous waste event
The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority will offer a household hazardous waste event by appointment only on Jan. 18 and 29 at the Highway 59 landfill for residents. Items that will be accepted are household products with ingredients that are corrosive, reactive, ignitable and flammable or toxic.
Lions Club cioppino
ATWATER -- The Merced Breakfast Lions Club will host its 33rd annual Cioppino Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Atwater APC Hall, 1420 Third St. Tickets are $40 per person. Enchilada luncheon
The Merced SPCA will host its Enchilada Luncheon and Bazaar from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Los Panchos Restaurant, 2971 G St. Tickets are $15 and include choice of chicken, beef or cheese enchiladas, drink and dessert. Merced Art Hop
The Merced Art Hop will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday in downtown Merced. It features vendors, art displays, music, dance performances and more.
