No one was hurt in the incident.
The shooting was reported at 3:47 p.m. in the 3100 block of Meadows, according to Lt. Tom Trindad.
Officers were near Frankfort Court on another call when they reported hearing gunshots. Officer Jason Holl and Trindad responded.
When they arrived, two males took off running. After a short pursuit, Daniel Sanchez, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody.
During the foot chase, two firearms were discarded, which officers found in the area where the pair were arrested. Several witnesses heard the gunshots, but didn't see the shooting. No shell casings or bullet holes were found, Trindad said.
