Sacto 911: Services for Galt officer scheduled Monday in Roseville

Services for Galt Police Officer Kevin Tonn will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Adventure Christian Church, 6401 Stanford Ranch Road, Roseville.

Following the service, a procession will travel from the church to East Lawn Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, where he will be laid to rest.

A reception will be held at the Citrus Heights Community Center, 6300 Fountain Square Drive, Citrus Heights.

Tonn, 35, was shot and killed Tuesday as he struggled with a man believed to be a burglary suspect. He had been an officer with the Galt Police Department for 3-1/2 years.

He served in the military, fire services and law enforcement, and officials said they expect a large turnout from the public service community Monday, creating heavy traffic in the area.

The public is invited to attend.
