Yosemite Church plans women's Bible study

Navigating the system of mental health care

Relay for Life captains to meet at Elks Lodge

The American Cancer Society Merced Relay for Life team captains will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Elks Lodge, 19th and M St. If you are interested in forming a team, want to volunteer on a committee or have a team, this meeting is for you. Los Cazadores group will perform at club

Club Mercedes and HD Entertainment will present the music group Los Cazadores de la Sierra de Aguililla from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at 569 W. 9th St. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, you must be 21 or older to attend. Rose pruning workshop set for Applegate Park

The University of California Cooperative Extension Merced County Master Gardeners will hold a free rose pruning workshop at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Applegate Park Rose Garden; meet at Laura's Fountain. Learn to prune, fertilize, control pests and root roses. Bring pruning shears, gloves and a chair or kneeling pad. Call (209) 385-7403.

VFW ready to hold latest hamburger night

LIVINGSTON -- The VFW will hold its first hamburger night of the year from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at 1605 7th St. Prices range from $2 to $4 per meal and proceeds support community programs. Call (209) 394-2059.

Church set to hold women's conference
