ROJAS: Decisions must be made locally

Merced residents should decide the direction and future of Merced County, not outside carpetbaggers. The Merced Alliance for Responsible Growth, for example, is nothing more than a proxy by union interests to hobble Wal-Mart. Does anyone in Merced know a MARG member personally?

The only information I could Google on them leads to San Francisco addresses and no means of contact. You would think that a genuine Merced-based interest group would actively recruit members from the local community, wouldn't you?
