Barbershop singing on Valentine's Day

The Golden Valley Men's Barbershop Chorus will offer Singing Valentines on Feb. 14. The group will deliver a silk rose, a Valentine card, sing a romantic song and take a digital photo of the recipient surrounded by the quartet. The group will make deliveries in the Merced-Atwater area from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cost is $40. Call (209) 383-3808 to make a reservation.

Improve driving course

Merced College noncredit office is offering mature driver improvement classes for residents over the age of 55, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 13 at the Merced Tri-College Center. This is a free noncredit class. To enroll, call (209) 381-6541.

AARP offers tax help

The AARP TaxAide Program will begin preparing tax returns for all ages with middle to low incomes. There will be extra assistance for those who are 60 and older, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday at the Senior Center, 755 W. 15th St. All volunteers are trained and certified with IRS material. No appointment is needed.

FFA holds crab feed

Merced High FFA will host its crab feed at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the school gym, 205 W. Olive Ave. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 for a table of eight and includes all-you-can- eat crab, pasta and bread. Dessert auction, live auction and raffle. Call (209) 628-4213 or email ffamhs@gmail.com.

Community Fun Fair

Little League crab feed

Lions offering take-out
