Free e-waste recycling coming to Livingston
LIVINGSTON -- Livingston High School will hold a Sober Grad Go Green, Save the Earth, Save Lives free electronic waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the school, at Main Street and Peach Avenue. If it plugs in or runs on batteries, it will be taken. No hazardous materials, batteries, fluorescent lighting or liquids will be accepted.
La Grange Odd Fellows breakfast is Sunday
LA GRANGE -- The La Grange Odd Fellows of LaFayette Historical Lodge 65 will serve its monthly breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the IOOF Hall. Tickets are $6. The Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is in need of donations for ultralight pet enclosures it can use at monthly adoption events.
